Change to fluid weight calculation in load combinations In version 2026.0, the way fluid weight is accounted for in load combinations has been changed: instead of the dead weight factor, the static head factor is now used. Files created with previous versions may require a review of the existing load combinations.
Revision of the tensile and compressive verification method of the tube bundle according to AD 2000 B5 §8.3.4 for heat exchangers with floating head Starting from version 2026.0, the tensile and compressive verification method of tube bundles in heat exchangers with floating head has been revised to better align with AD 2000 B5 §8.3.4. The software no longer automatically determines the number of resistant tubes, requiring the user to define the effective load-bearing tubes and the corresponding area. The procedure is less automated but more consistent with the actual structural behavior.
